Magazine download errors?

Postby Nreive on Wed Mar 18, 2009 11:53 am

There seems to be an increase in error 206 codes (partial download), mainly regarding the PDF issue 1 file. Have any of you guys had problems dowloading any of the files at all?

Nope, definitely didn't.
I got meself a lovely gaming Lair filled with Retro Treasures, Cabaret memorabilia and SMSs. Old issues of Retroaction lie around the place.

OK, thanks. I'll chalk this down to impatient downloaders who are cancelling before the file is fully downloaded.

It just occurred to me they might be people not downloading but actually reading online, in which case they wouldn't really have to download all of the issue. Just the pages they read. Seems the RetroAction servers are more than robust.

That's a fair enough hypothesise. Although, they really should use the ISSUU link to read the mag on-line.
