Quite right too. I wish I could go back and re-scan my own MEGA issues as the ones that are there are... well crap. I had started scanning the MEGA issues back in 2007 as a personal project to get all my issues (1-30) in digital format. Trouble was that I didn't want to debind a lot of them and as a result, the scans are poor quality.

I personally don't think your releases are of poor quality, nreive. I personally went through and removed close 75 releases that were poor in quality and well, it decimated the EGM section but with the recent rumblings and discussions with the newly returned owner of that publication, it was made with the best intentions and in good faith to further relations with him. Your work is fine, I haven't heard any complaints on it.

It is that time again everyone, we have some special releases this week, namely 4 issues of Game Informer-including the first issue (if anyone ever complains about mags not having much in them now, they need to check out GI#1, 3 reviews in 16 pages), a strategy guide for one of the best N64 games, Golden Eye and a guide for Mario Paint and an early issue of EGM to round out things.

And I am proud to let everyone know that we have released the first set of Official releases ever on Retromags.com, coming from Bill Kunkel himself. The first 6 "The Kunkel Report" columns he did for Electronic Games during their second publishing run in the early 90's. This release was very special because some were scanned by Bill himself and from Ter who owns the Zap! Online forums located at http://www.zaponline.org/forums

Out of respect for some recent changes at Retromags with the people that helped make these issues happen we have been putting an emphasis on anything that Bill Kunkel worked on and EGM. 8-) I wish I could go in more detail about the EGM situation but I just can't right now, just know it is really cool and will possibly change Retromags for the better soon.

The previous links are bad now. We went through a software upgrade at Retromags, and our third party software to make the links readable isn't compatible so they have had to be redone (about 6 hours just for the links on RM for eacch update's file links and username links).

Here is the weekly update for 8/15/2009 (these links are good and work just fine):
