Magazine ideas

While editorial for issue one has been ongoing for a couple of months, we are considering the possibility of an additional feature for the magazine. So what feature would you like to see in a retro magazine?

How about a games magazine feature for every issue? With the likes of CVG, Mean Machines, Your Sinclair, Amiga Power, etc, etc. There's just not enough coverage of the classic magazines these days.

We are looking into this for issue one. The main problem we have is that to get the feature to a reasonable standard, we're talking about a lot of work. Things like research, contacts, time and effort all have to be taken into account. This is a massive undertaking for anyone, especially for a long running magazine like CVG, and people are short of time these days. But you never know, we might just come up with the impossible and have a regular magazine feature.

Well, that would have to depend on the readers/community, wouldn't it? Not a bad idea though. Maybe even a collection photos section.
I got meself a lovely gaming Lair filled with Retro Treasures, Cabaret memorabilia and SMSs. Old issues of Retroaction lie around the place.

Does sound interesting, but what do you mean by a "games room"? I take it that it's nothing to do with a group of kids playing table football in a spare room. I've had a sheltered life.

Nice idea. I had a games room at one time, but all the computers/consoles (Amstrad CPC464, C64, Mega Drive) developed faults over the years. I've been really unlucky with this as many other people still have their machines in perfect working order. Nevermind, I will soon be acquiring a Mega Drive in the next couple of weeks.
